Mohammed Bello Adoke, a former Minister of Justice during the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan has approached an FCT High Court to clear a bench warrant issued against him.
A court had ordered Adoke’s arrest following his alleged failure to appear in court over a fraud charge relating to Malabu Oil scandal.
However, Adoke, through his lawyer, Mike Ozekhome approached the FCT High Court to vacate the bench warrant saying the court lacked jurisdiction to grant the order in the first place.
