The Nigeria Customs Service has generated revenue of N311.2-billion for the first quarter of 2019.
The comptroller-general of customs, Hameed Ali said that the revenue was generated from import duty, levy, exercise duty and other fees across the 29 various commands of the service in the country. Tincan Island was the highest revenue generator.
However, the Comptroller-General of Customs promised to surpass the projected figure for the next quarter.
