Two Superintendents of Police, Abdul Ahmed and Adamu Abare, have been dismissed from the service for gross misconduct.
According to a statement by the Police Service Commission, seven other senior police officers from the rank of Deputy Superintendents of Police to Assistant Superintendents of Police were also dismissed by the Commission.
PSC said it, however, exonerated a Police Commissioner, Austin Agbonlahor from any disciplinary action.
It also approved the reduction in rank of another six officers for different cases of misconduct.
