Governor of Katsina State, Aminu Masari has sympathised with the people of Batsari Local Government Area, for 18 farmers victims of bandits attack.
Masari, who addressed the people who had paid courtesy visit to Government House to complain of the constant killing of their people by bandits, said his administration had plan to stop the killings.
The governor said that protest would not solve the problems, urging them to remain calm, as the government was doing its best to end the menace.
The leader of the Yar-gamji, Aminu Ruma complained to the governor that the bandits killed their victims in their farmland and rustled some cows.
Aminu said that the people of communities like Batsari, Safana and Danmusa Local Government Areas have not started planting crops this year for fear of bandit attacks.
He urged the state government act in haste to solve the banditry issues.
