Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai has declared that the military has defeated the Boko Haram insurgents and they will never come back.
He said what the military operations in the North East is dealing with are members of the Islamic State of West Africa (ISWAP).
Buratai, in an interaction with journalists said some International Organisations have hidden agenda and are “providing logistics support” to the insurgents group.
“We need to consolidate with other part of the world to contain the global security challenges, what we have now is ISWAP. Trying to cause mayhem in the west African subregion”.
Buratai also expressed commitment to give his all to tackle lingering problem and restore peace and tranquility to Nigeria.
