Suspected Boko Haram insurgents have attacked a village in Madagali LGA in Adamawa State.
Residents of Shuwa village fled the attackers late last night, according to reports.
While the military authorities have not confirmed the attack, residents say the terrorist group torched homes and shops of the villagers.
The government has issued several statements suggesting the insurgents have been decimated, but residents of the North East region still live in fear owing to several attacks of the past weeks involving suspected Boko Haram insurgents.
