President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the 2019 appropriation bill into law just as he faulted its increment by the National Assembly by over N90.3bn.
The National Assembly had earlier passed the 2019 Budget of N8.92trn, as against N8.83trn presented by President Buhari on December 18, 2018
The increase of N90bn according to the National in the budget was to cater for security challenges in the country, packages for lawmakers and support for Zamfara State.
But signing the budget, the President faulted the increase in the budget, which introduced new projects.
