The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) said it transferred N153-billion into the Federation account.
NNPC revealed this in its Financial and Operations report released for the month of January.
The corporation accumulated inflows into the federation and joint ventures from January 2018-January 2019 with the sum of N905.45bn and N658.66bn respectively.
The upward indices resulted from the improved performance of NNPC’s upstream subsidiary, Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC), which recorded surplus figures despite a decrease in operational activities.
The positive financial position was attributed to the improved performance of NNPC’s upstream subsidiary, Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC) which recorded surplus numbers despite reduced operational activities in the month.
