Vice President Yemi Osinbajo said that it was unacceptable for law enforcement officers to collect bribes from citizens.
Osinbajo made this known at the conference tagged ‘collaborative approach to eradicating the evils of corruption in Nigeria’.
He added that the administration could not pretend that it has won the battle against corruption. No matter how much of the country’s revenue went towards development, corruption would truncate the plans.
However, the vice-president urged all the relevant government agencies and security agencies to work together in the interest of Nigeria to rid the stigma of corruption from the system.
