Wild condemnation have trailed government plan to set-up a radio station for the Fulani ethnic group.
The Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu had disclosed of plan to setup the station saying the license had been acquired to operate the radio service which be strictly in Fulani Language.
However, the Southern and Middle Belt Leaders’ Forum criticised the idea saying the move was ill-advised.
“The announcement came at a time the Federal Government has been acting as the information arm of Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen by dissing the correct interpretation of the groups’ activities as attempts to Fulanise Nigeria.
“We totally reject this insensitive decision of the government.”
However, some Twitter users argued that if the station could be established, government should as a matter of urgency established indigenous radio stations for other ethnic group in the country.
Others also expressed fears that the proposed radio would become a weapon of spreading hate propaganda against other nationalities in Nigeria.

3. They have a radio station for easy coordination just like new Fulani radio for coordination.
4. The Hutu militias 'Interahamwe' were supported by the Burundi Hutus just like Nigeria bandits are backed by Niger, Chadian etc. Fulanis.

OBJ is 100% correct. Fulanization & Islamization agenda is coming very fast.
Just the other week ₦100b was approved for Meyitti Allah; this week FG approved Fulani Radio. This same week Buhari gave order to annul gun licenses; meaning people won’t have guns to defend themselves

Radio Biafra was the radio station of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB). When Buhari was sworn in as president, he tried all he could to bring down the radio station. But he sees no reason in shutting down the Fulani radio. Buhari is an unrepentant ethnic bigot.

Buhari and his govt is establishing an AM Fulani radio on frequency of 720KHz to speak to fulani herdsmen directly, yet they kick when Obasanjo said they plan to Fulanize Nigeria. Do we know the instructions that would be passed to them on this medium?

Setting up Fulani Radio station with Yorubas, Igbos and Niger Delta financial resources is the highest level of nepotism by the Buhari led admin. This is a classical case of Baboon dey work monkey dey chop.

Government says the radio station would be established to reach herdsmen across various locations in the country as parts of measures to enhance nomadic education.
