The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has alleged that the Governor of Kastina State, Aminu Masari does not possess the required educational certificates to contest the 2019 governorship election in the State.
The PDP said the certificates submitted to INEC by the governor only bear “Aminu Bello” as against Aminu Bello Masari, which is the governor’s full name, “did not appear in all the certificates submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
“The governor said he completed his primary school on its certificate in 1951. But his father however said his son was born in 1950. “There is no basis for the governor to even remain there, the certificate from England has no logo and a higher diploma, you can’t do that without diploma. These are clear before the court.” PDP said
However, the APC dismissed the allegation saying the matter was before the court asking and it wouldn’t wanter to banter with the PDP on the “demerits of its allegations”.
