Nigeria’s Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Enoh, has announced a groundbreaking initiative to provide training grants to both local and foreign-based athletes, marking the first time home-based athletes will receive such support.
This decision was made following interactive sessions with athletes at the Paris Games village, where Enoh emphasized the importance of addressing the welfare of all athletes equally.
In his announcement, Enoh stated that all athletes who represent Nigeria deserve recognition and support for their efforts and dedication.
