Wilfred Ndidi, a Super Eagles player, made a magnificent outing for himself on Sunday during the Leicester city match against Newcastle United.
In spite of playmaker James Maddison missing out due to an ankle injury, Ndidi still helped to move Leicester city to the third place in the English Premier League after thrashing Newcastle united 5-0.
Newcastle is anchored in the relegation zone after Leicester took full advantage of Isaac Hayden’s straight red card for a terrible tackle on fellow midfielder Dennis Praet by running riot.
Leicester was already leading through Ricardo Pereira’s outstanding low finish before the hosts made the extra man advantage count with three goals in 10 second-half minutes.
Vardy beat Martin Dubravka at his near post to double the lead after Paul Dummett had deflected Praet’s cross into his own net to make it 3-0, heading the fourth.
However, it felt like a volcanic eruption for Newcastle as Ndidi added a late fifth goal with a shot on the turn.
