Bayern Munich embarrassed Tottenham 7-2 goals on Tuesday, when Serge Gnary slammed four goals in the second-half, making the last season’s champions league finalists to face a difficult task to reach the knockout phase.
Tottenham began in an amazing way by taking charge through Son Heungmin but, suddenly pushed away by precise strikes from Joshua Kimmich and Robert Lewandowski on the stroke of half-time.
Bayern took the lead on the stroke of half-time thanks to a superb finish from Lewandowski. The Poland striker picked up the loose ball at the edge of the area and swivelled to fire into the bottom corner, extending their advantage eight minutes after the break as Gnabry broke at pace down the left and burst into the box before drilling into the bottom corner.
Spurs’ misery was compounded as Gnabry struck again two minutes later, capitalising after Harry Winks lost possession.
