The allegations of rape levelled against its overseer, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth Of Zion Assembly has been dismissed as mere envy against his prospering ministry.
The church administration insists that Fatoyinbo never raped Busola, wife of the popular singer, Timi Dakolo, who accused the COZA pastor of rape in 2002 when she was 17years old.
Ademola Adetuberu, the executive senior assistant to the senior pastor of COZA said the church has decided to break its long silence over the allegation and set the records straight by describing the allegation as a “satanic campaign of calumny targeted against the leadership and members of COZA by agents of darkness”.
“As for Busola Dakolo, justice will soon be served. Busola was not raped by Rev. Biodun Fatoyinbo and she had never been in a relationship with him either” he said.
